VE Celebrations

 

In celebration of 80 years since Victory in Europe, we are excited to announce that we will be holding a special theme day on Thursday 8th May.

We invite all children to join us by dressing up in traditional 1940s style clothing; alternatively, they can wear red, white, and blue. Please note that this is not a non-uniform day, so we kindly ask that children refrain from wearing football kits. For those who choose not to dress up, full school uniform is expected as usual.

In the afternoon, weather permitting, there will be a 'street party' style event on the playground. We kindly ask for any donations towards this event. Additionally, the children will be making some 1940s recipes in the morning, and any contributions towards this would be greatly appreciated.
