The school took part in “Break the Rules Day”, which has become an annual favourite among the children. The event was held in aid of Kids Inspire, a children’s mental health charity that offers free trauma support to families who might otherwise struggle to access it. They have worked closely with our children and families for many years, and we are incredibly fortunate to have had Maria as a consistent and valued source of support throughout that time.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of our children, families, and staff, we are delighted to share that we raised an amazing £356.82 for this wonderful cause.
Well done to everyone who took part and helped raise £154.86 during Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week 2026
Following a suggestion from some of our parents and pupils, we are delighted to begin putting a new plan into action. The aim is to offer more opportunities for creative and sensory play during lunchtime, helping to enrich the children’s experience and support their development.
To help us achieve this, we are kindly asking for donations. If you are willing and able to contribute, we would greatly appreciate any of the following items:
Any donations, big or small, would be very gratefully received.
This is a day where the children can break a list of rules for a cost…. Rules to be broken are as follows……..
• MUST wear school uniform
• MUST eat the main course before the pudding
• NO squash in the water bottles
• NO hats or hoodies
• NO Wacky or different colour hair
• NO nail varnish
• NO logo’s or coloured trainers – must be plain black
Each rule broken will cost the pupil £1.00. So therefore, if you decide to break 2 rules, it will cost you £2.00 and so on. All monies raised will be donated towards a wonderful charity, ‘Kids Inspire’ who do fantastic work and have helped many of our children and their families at at King’s Ford Academy.
