Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Year 3 at King’s Ford Academy!

We are delighted to welcome you and your child to Year 3 – a very special and exciting stage in their educational journey. As your child begins Key Stage 2, they are stepping into a new chapter full of opportunities for growth, discovery, and development.

Year 3 is a time when children begin to show greater independence and build resilience in both their learning and social development. As they take on new responsibilities and challenges, we are here to guide and support them every step of the way. Our aim is to nurture each child so that they feel confident, motivated, and empowered to reach their full potential.

This year marks the beginning of a journey that we will travel together – staff, families, and children – as we work in partnership to ensure every child thrives. We believe that strong communication and collaboration between home and school is key to a successful and fulfilling year.

Throughout the year, we will be encouraging the children to become more independent in their learning, to persevere through challenges, and to take pride in their progress. We will also focus on developing their curiosity and creativity through a broad and engaging curriculum.
