Hello Parents and Carers!

I'm absolutely delighted to welcome you and your children to Year 4 and Class 4N at King's Ford Academy! This year is all about challenging themselves and embracing new adventures. I am looking forward to getting to know your children as a class but also as individuals. 

In our class, we believe that learning is a journey, and we encourage the children to take ownership of that journey. They’ll learn to view mistakes as stepping stones and to support one another as true teammates. Above all, we will celebrate not only achievements but also effort, perseverance, and kindness. Our classroom aims to be a safe haven where every child feels valued and empowered to thrive.

Information for parents

PE -  Our P.E day is a Wednesday so children must come into school wearing their Active wear on this day.  Earrings must be removed on PE days. 

Water bottles- Children should bring in a water bottle every day. No metal water bottles please. 

Reading books - Children will have a reading book set to their level and a 'snack book' which is a book they may choose to read that can be any level. Children must have their reading book and reading diary in school everyday. 

Homework - On a Friday, the children will receive homework tasks. Homework should be returned to school for the following Friday.We also encourage children to access our online platforms to support their learning further. These include Times table Rockstars and Edshed. Log in details for these can be found in your child's reading diary.
