Educational Psychology (EP) Parent Helpline – Essex County Council

A confidential helpline staffed by qualified Educational Psychologists offering advice, support and signposting around behaviour, learning, emotional needs, and understanding what support may be available.

  • No referral needed
  • 25‑minute appointments
  • Online via Microsoft Teams
  • Available on alternating Mondays and Tuesdays (1pm–5pm, term time)

Therapy Advice Lines (NHS – Essex)

Parents and carers can book short advice calls with NHS therapists, including:

  • Speech and Language Therapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Physiotherapists

Therapists offer guidance on development, exercises, strategies, and whether a child may need further assessment or support. These lines are listed on and accessed through the Essex Local Offer.
