Representing King's Ford
We take part in lots of fixtures throughout the year. Here are some of our team photos from recent fixtures.
Sports Afternoon
Back in May, we had a fantastic Active Sports Afternoon filled with lots of fun and fitness! The children truly embraced the event and had the opportunity to explore a variety of sports, including football, rounders, dodgeball, and even cheerleading!
It was heartwarming to see so much positive sportsmanship and teamwork on display. The children cheered each other on, celebrated successes, and demonstrated excellent collaboration while trying their best in each activity.
We believe that such events are crucial in fostering a love for sports and active living, and we were delighted to see everyone participating with such enthusiasm.

Sports day each year is very competitive. All children are split into four teams and compete in a variety of activities in order to earn points.
Our most recent sports day saw fantastic effort from all the children in a very closely run and fiercely competitive sports day. Final points totals: Green - 1222, purple - 1155, blue - 1105, red - 1089.
Leah McDerment
Back in summer term, we were extremely lucky to be joined by Leah McDerment, a professional athlete who plays basketball for the Essex Rebels. She shared her passion for the sport, discussing how she turned her love for basketball into a career, including her journey to securing a scholarship in America. We also participated in some fitness circuits—these were exhausting, and she definitely put us through our paces! Overall, we’re very grateful to Leah for visiting us. It was a fantastic day, and hopefully, we have some budding basketball players among us!

Clubs
We run a number of clubs throughout the year which change each term. Clubs include football, dodgeball, gymnastics, badminton, and more!
You can also see one of our recent sessions where gymnastics club did a fantastic job at recreating road signs!
